What Is The Revision?

The Revision is The Big Bad Project’s in-house publication, created to showcase fresh voices and new perspectives on wildlife and wild places. It highlights work that challenges outdates narratives and inspires more thoughtful, lasting ways of seeing the natural world.

This anthology is an example of the growing movement of writers who see storytelling as a tool for cultural change. It is the goal of The Revision to publish work that will spark conversation, broaden perspectives, and help create a future where the wild is embraced as part of our collective story.

Our team carefully reviews each submission to determine how it fits with the mission of The Revision. We believe this publication is our chance to promote work that challenges old, harmful narratives and inspire writers to use their voices to shape cultural shifts toward empathy, respect, and coexistence with the wild.
