A heartfelt thank-you to Food Finders Food Bank for their incredible donation of over 2,200 lbs of meat! That is over a literal ton and enough to feed both of our ambassadors for roughly a year.
Food Finders works hard to make sure no food goes to waste. When items are no longer suitable for human consumption, which happens for a variety of reasons, they still make sure it serves a purpose. In this case, that purpose was supporting the ambassadors that help power our educational programs.
Their mission to provide food and connect people to life-stabilizing resources is incredibly important. What is more impressive is their willingness go beyond their mission to ensure little to no waste. We are lucky to be part of their circle and so grateful to their whole team (shout-out to Ryan for all of his help coordinating) and their amazing efforts!
