This anthology is an example of the growing movement of writers who see storytelling as a tool for cultural change. It is the goal of The Revision to publish work that will spark conversation, broaden perspectives, and help create a future where the wild is embraced as part of our collective story.
Our team carefully reviews each submission to determine how it fits with the mission of The Revision. We believe this publication is our chance to promote work that challenges old, harmful narratives and inspire writers to use their voices to shape cultural shifts toward empathy, respect, and coexistence with the wild.

All submissions must be received by 11:59pm ET on June 30th, 2026.
Eligibility:
We accept original creative work that has not been previously published.
Submission Limit & Fees:
Each writer may submit up to two (2) pieces total, across genres. A $10 fee applies per submission and are waived for participants of Rewriting the Wild workshops.
Length Guidelines:
Authors whose work is chosen for publication in The Revision receive a $50 honorarium as recognition for their contribution and full credit. Beyond compensation, publication means your work will be featured across our network and platforms, helping to amplify your voice and work.
