With 2024 officially behind us, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what your support helped us accomplish. From enriching the lives of our animals to expanding outreach and interpretive programming, every contribution helped move our mission forward. We’re deeply grateful to our community of supporters and partners, and excited to keep building on that momentum in the year ahead.
Last year, The Big Bad Project raised just under $49,000 in revenue, including $35,500 in restricted grant funding, more than $10,000 in in-kind contributions, and $3,000 from individual donors. This support allowed us to grow the impact of our programs while staying lean, and reflects the trust our community places in our mission and the work we do.
Last year, The Big Bad Project spent just under $22,000 in total expenses, with over $17,000, going directly toward program costs. Administrative expenses totaled $2,070, with an additional $2,462 in shared costs that supported both outreach and operations, reflecting our commitment to keeping resources focused on the work that matters most.
